Corey Barber
DIRECTOR
Corey founded Barber Communications in 2019. She is a communications consultant based in Berlin, Germany. For over a decade, she has worked in PR and public affairs, gathering lobbying experience at the Oregon Legislature, the German Bundestag and global health organizations. She has communicated with the public and the media about everything from cardiac stents to war crimes. Corey loves all things strategy, content creation and thinking deeply about the issues facing the world today and how to tackle them.
Since receiving a Master of Public Policy from the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin in 2010, she has worked for a wide range of organizations in the nonprofit and healthcare sectors in Germany and the United States.

Erika is a writer and editor also based in Berlin. She served as editor at FUKT Magazine, digital editor at LOLA Magazine, and has contributed to publications such as Daddy Magazine, The Beam, and Next Generation Living. Erika has degrees in English and Fine Art from Southwestern University, and is originally from New Mexico, US. As a fine artist, she brings her eye for design to her communications projects.

Alison is a writer and editor based in Berlin. She has a MFA in Studio Art from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a MA in Rhétoriques des Arts from the Université de Pau et des Pays de l’Adour. She reads feminist theory for fun, loves jogging and museum-hopping, and has given up on limiting her caffeine intake.
Collin Brennan

Collin is a professional writer, editor, and journalist based in Berlin. His work has appeared in LA Weekly, SF Weekly and other major publications. Collin has 11+ years of experience in content marketing, SEO content strategy, and web-based journalism, including managerial positions at Groupon, Credit Karma, and N26. As a cultural journalist, he regularly publishes stories and interview-based features covering music, film, and politics.
Polina Georgescu
Filmmaker, Photographer
Polina is a cinematographer and a multi-disciplinary filmmaker based in Berlin. She is from Eastern Europe and specializes in the region (School of Slavonic and Eastern European Studies, UCL). After a career in public policy, she turned to visual storytelling in 2015. In filmmaking, Polina has been drawn to social justice, human rights and civil society. Over the last decade, she has helped organizations like Amnesty International, the World Bank, OXFAM, Greenpeace, OSF, ODIHR and others tell their stories and amplify universal humanism and justice. Her documentary films have been broadcast on TV and screened at international festivals, including One World and WatchDocs.
